Our Infrastructure
SCRI provides the best state-of-the-art infrastructural amenities for training with excellent ambience. Training programs will be conducted in and near the premises of Micro Therapeutic Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. (MTR) so students get access to training and library facility, internet access, photocopying and scanning facilities, modern instruments, tools and processes.
- Clinical Research facility
The clinical research facilities is spread over a 17000 sq. ft-area, with air-conditioning and round the clock security.
- Housing Area
We have 4 clinics, with 120 beds and basic amenities.
- Intensive Care Unit
MTR has its own, dedicated ICU, equipped with defibrillator, vital monitor,
pulseoximeter, suction apparatus,
nebuliser, oxygen cylinder and crash cart
with all emergency drugs.
- Sampling Area
Clutter-free sampling area consisting of 12
phlebotomy stations for drawing of blood samples from study
participants. Seating arrangements have been made
for easy, hassle-free sampling
- Bioanalytical
The bio-analytical unit with entry/exit
controls, has a carpet area of approximately 4500 Sq. ft with fully
air conditioned facilities
- Sample Processing Area
Ten sample processing workstations to handle
independently. Equipment like solid phase extraction systems,
refrigerated centrifuge, micro-balances, water
purification systems, pH meters etc are accommodated in
the sample processing area. Emergency shower
provided near the sample processing area
- Instrumentation Room
Equipped with Seven high throughput LC-MS/MS
systems. Ample facility for one GC-MS/MS, Five HPLC systems including
thermo-controlled auto-samplers, UV-VIS, Fluorescence detectors with FDA CFR 21 part 11 compliant software.
- Clinical Data Management
Industry standard server hardware with RAID 5
configuration, 24 x 7 security, Data back up and Disaster recovery.
Paper based and Electronic Data Capture CDMS. SAS
9.2 for Biostatistics, Kinetica, WinNonlin for Pharmacokinetics analysis.
- Chemical Storage Room
Adequate space is provided for the storage of chemicals/solvents in the chemical rack
- Deep Freezers
Access controlled room with -20 and -80 ºC deep freezers. Enough space is provided for storage and retrieval of samples
- Buffer Area
Space is provided with lockers for changing before entry to the bio-analytical lab
- Safety
The entire facility has smoke detectors, fire alarm, strategically placed fire extinguishers, emergency exits with exit signs, route maps and wide swing doors for easy exit
- Locker Rooms
Exclusive area with 80 lockers
