3) What is the course duration?

The course duration is 4-5 months for Clinical Research, Clinical Data Management and Bioanalytical Instrumentation course.

4) Will you provide weekend classes apart from weekday sessions?

Clinical Data Management and Clinical Research program will be conducted on Weekdays. We will provide weekdays and weekend classes (Saturday and Sunday) only for Bio Analytical-Instrumentation program.

5) What is the course fee??

Rs. 45,000 /- for Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research (PGCR)
Rs. 45,000 /- for Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Data Management and Statistics (PGCDM)
Rs. 60,000 /- for Post Graduate Certificate in Bioanalytical instrumentation (PGBI)

6) Do you provide any installment facility for course fee?

Yes. We have a flexible installment scheme for payment of fees.

7) Will you provide placement assurance?

No course can guarantee placement. Students will be trained by industry Professionals and our Institute will help students to forward them to reputed Clinical Research and Pharma companies whom we have maintained a nice repute. Suitable candidates will be recruited at the MTR also.

8) When the course will commence?

Fifth batch commences on August 2011. Admission open from 1st July 2011.

9) Will I get refund if I discontinue the course?

No, but special circumstances might be considered.

10) Will you provide training on any live project?

No, due to confidentiality agreement between various sponsors and MTR, students will not be exposed to live project. But students will be trained in all aspects in mock projects at the same facility where live projects are done.

11) Will you provide placement in your organization?

Yes. For students with outstanding performance throughout the training will have great opportunity for in-house placement

12) Who are the trainers?

All of our trainers have multiple years of work experience at various pharmaceutical and CROs. Guest faculties will be called upon to provide insights on the current trends and practices in Clinical Research domain.

Yes, it is a continually expanding industry. Trained manpower is lacking in this industry. 1) Does CDM course require any programming skills? do I have to do any special computer courses?

No, not required, just the basics are sufficient. Using the data management systems will be taught in the course. No programming knowledge required

2) What is Clinical Data Management?

CDM refers to management of data capture & data flow processes in conduct of a clinical research. It begins with design of data capture instrument & data collection, continues with data QC procedures to assure quality of all aspects of process, & ends with database closure

3) Could you mention some companies which require CDM professionals in Chennai (or India)?

There are many CROs and BPOs offering positions in clinical data management through out India. Major companies in India are CTS, TCS, PPD, BMS, Pfizer, Accenture, ICON, Novartis, Quintiles, Parexel, Neeman Medical etc
